Secure Onshore Storage for Your Vessel
Erawan Yacht Marina provides professional dry storage services for yacht and boat owners seeking a secure and practical onshore location in Phuket.
Keeping a vessel out of the water can help reduce prolonged exposure to seawater, marine growth, corrosion, and unnecessary wear on underwater components. It also provides convenient access for inspection, repair, maintenance, refit, and preparation before the vessel returns to the water.
Whether you require temporary storage during maintenance or a dependable long-term solution, our marina team will coordinate the process according to your vessel’s specifications and operational requirements.
Flexible Storage for Short and Extended Periods
Our dry storage service is available for vessels requiring temporary, seasonal, or extended onshore accommodation.
Storage arrangements are planned according to vessel dimensions, weight, structural requirements, preferred duration, lifting capability, operational conditions, and available space.
Dry storage is suitable for:
- Yachts and boats undergoing repair or maintenance
- Vessels awaiting scheduled refit work
- Boats stored between cruising seasons
- Owners who use their vessels occasionally
- Vessels requiring inspection before returning to the water
- Boats awaiting transfer, sale, or onward transportation
- Owners seeking to reduce extended exposure to seawater
Professional Haul-Out and Storage Coordination
Before a vessel is moved into dry storage, our team reviews its technical information and storage requirements.
The process may include:
- Review of vessel dimensions and weight
- Haul-out scheduling and preparation
- Coordination of lifting and vessel movement
- Appropriate positioning within the storage area
- Placement on suitable supports or cradles
- Coordination with owners, captains, crew members, and yacht managers
- Access planning for inspection and maintenance
- Relaunch scheduling when the vessel is ready to return to the water
All lifting, movement, and storage arrangements are subject to technical review, equipment capacity, weather conditions, operational requirements, and space availability.
Protect Your Vessel While Ashore
Dry storage provides owners and captains with better access to areas of the vessel that are difficult to inspect while it remains in the water.
It can also support preventive maintenance and help prepare the yacht for its next journey.
Hull Inspection
With the vessel positioned ashore, technicians can inspect the hull, keel, rudder, propellers, shafts, through-hull fittings, and underwater components.
Antifouling and Hull Care
Antifouling removal and application, hull cleaning, polishing, painting, fiberglass work, and cosmetic restoration can be carried out while the vessel is in storage.
Mechanical Maintenance
Engine servicing, propulsion work, steering-system inspections, plumbing repairs, and other mechanical services can be coordinated during the storage period.
Electrical and Electronic Services
Marine electrical systems, batteries, navigation equipment, communication systems, and onboard electronics can be inspected, repaired, or upgraded.
Refit and Restoration
Dry storage provides a practical environment for structural work, technical upgrades, restoration, and selected refit projects.
Short-Term Dry Storage
Short-term dry storage is suitable for vessels requiring inspection, emergency repair, scheduled maintenance, or temporary accommodation between marine operations.
Our team can coordinate storage with haul-out, repair, cleaning, and relaunching to help owners and captains manage the entire service period efficiently.
Long-Term Dry Storage
Long-term dry storage offers a practical solution for vessels remaining unused for an extended period or staying in Phuket between cruising seasons.
Owners may also arrange scheduled inspections, maintenance, cleaning, technical work, and preparation before the vessel’s next launch.
Long-term arrangements are subject to storage availability and the specific requirements of each vessel.
